Little Moments Make Big Memories...

I really enjoy reading the fun posts by friends and acquaintances, they always seem to have a creative way of writing about their adventures and experiences. So, my hope is to do the same! I am not sure how this blog will go, or if I will stick with it, but we will see!

I want to be able to share all of the exciting and fun things that our family does. It seems life is so busy lately and I think this blog will be a wonderful way for me to slow down and reflect on the little things in life.

Just to catch everyone up...
Landen is 4½ and Peyton is already 7 months old.  I can't believe how blessed we are to have two beautiful children. They are both getting so big and I don't know where the time has gone!

Landen is in his 2nd year of preschool and loving every minute of it. I am of coarse enjoying the 3 hours of "quiet time" that preschool brings to our house! ;)  He is such a funny and outgoing boy. He is constantly making us laugh and teaching us new things and ALWAYS trying to outsmart us!

Peyton is such a little sweetheart....we just can't get enough of her! It's fun to notice the differences in their personalities. Landen was always loud and very busy. Peyton is much more calm and content. It seems they are exact opposites! :) One thing we know for sure is that she LOVES her big brother. It doesn't matter if he is being too rough or hugging her too tight. She almost always has a laugh or a smile for him. In her eyes, he does NO WRONG! Let's just hope it stays that way!

As for Alex and I...we are just trying to keep up with these kiddos! Alex is a store manager for Walgreens in Littleton. He works so hard and we are very thankful for his career. I am working 2 days a week for Walgreens as well.  It's really nice getting out of the house and having adult interactions. :)
We have been playing co-ed Softball on Friday nights and co-ed soccer on Sundays. That has been a lot of fun, but I am ready to relax a little bit.

Well, there goes writing my first BLOG. I think I may have rambled too much, but oh well! :) I will post again soon with some of our Fall activities!

Below are a few of the pictures we had taken in August. The photographer is a friend from high school who was trying to build her portfolio. I think she did an amazing job and we were so happy with the results!

  1. Yay you started a blog! I have one but I'm in the middle of changing my address. Once I change it I'll send it to you. Your kids are adorable-sounds like your little family is doing well!
